Esta célebre cita del arquitecto catalán fue dibujada en el cielo de Barcelona durante el espectáculo de drones que culminó la bendición de la Torre de Jesús de la Sagrada Familia por el papa León XIV.
Originalmente, las palabras exactas de Gaudí fueron: «Per fer les coses bé cal: primer, l'amor; segon, la tècnica». La frase apareció por primera vez en formato impreso en el libro Gaudí i la Sagrada Família comentada per ell mateix (Editorial Aymà, 1951), del arquitecto Cèsar Martinell i Brunet, discípulo, amigo y uno de los más importantes biógrafos del genio modernista.
